Our wholesale customers are at the heart of Naked Paper, sharing our bleach-free toilet paper with guests and colleagues in all kinds of businesses across the UK. It’s always great to hear about the values they bring to the work they do, and how Naked Paper fits into the picture.
Wild Willy Cabins are a great example. With a thoughtful approach and a love of the outdoors, the team provides toilets, shower shacks and even hot tubs for events and outdoor spaces across the UK. We caught up with them to find out more about how they work and why they chose Naked Paper.

Could you tell us a little about Wild Willy Cabins and what you do?
Wild Willy Cabins provides premium composting toilets for festivals and public events and is the brainchild of former North Yorkshire beef farmer Willy Gore Browne.
After each event, the contents of our toilets are collected and composted for later use as fertiliser. Rather than using conventional blue or green toilet chemicals found in other mobile loos our systems use sawdust, which enables a zero-water flush.
What made you choose Naked Paper?
As the biggest consumable in our toilets, we wanted to provide the most sustainable toilet paper we could find. Naked Paper’s unbleached and plastic-free packaging made sense for us, particularly because we try to think about what happens both before a product reaches us and after it has been used.
Following the appropriate composting process, the material from our toilets is used by our collaborating farmers as fertiliser for crops. Naked Paper helps us offer a premium experience to thousands of visitors while staying true to the principles behind Wild Willy Cabins.
How important is sustainability to Wild Willy Cabins, and how does Naked Paper fit into your approach?
The way we use water and toilet treatments is an important consideration for us. Our toilets use a waterless system with sawdust rather than a conventional water flush or blue and green chemical treatments. We also provide handwashing sinks and choose soaps that are suitable for use alongside our system.
Naked Paper fits naturally with this approach. Toilet paper is a disposable product that can easily be overlooked, but festival-goers still need it to be soft, strong and reliable. Choosing paper that is unbleached, made from FSC-certified fibre and supplied without plastic wrapping was the clear, aligned choice for us.

How have you found using the Naked Paper rolls and dispensers, and what difference have they made to your team?
Recently we provided our toilets at Shambala Festival, our first proper trial of the dispensers and commercial rolls. Our service area turned out to be much busier than expected, so using larger rolls eliminated the need to constantly restock smaller toilet rolls in the cubicles, saving our staff hours of walking and preserving much-needed energy for other aspects of an already demanding job.
When it rained, it became clear we couldn’t have managed without the dispensers; with so much atmospheric moisture, they kept the rolls dry and hidden (while also looking beautifully neat).
Although there was some doubt in the workshop about drilling more holes in the beautiful eucalyptus plywood interior walls to fit the dispensers (a slightly nail-biting process), there are no regrets. We’re absolutely thrilled with the result, as they are beautifully designed and significantly enhance the aesthetic.

Thank you for stopping by!
