Why we’re not doing Black Friday
We’ve spent November tackling some of the questions we get asked the most about our lovely, bleach-free toilet paper, kitchen rolls, and tissues. And as the month draws to a close, there’s one last question we know is on people’s minds:
“Are you doing a Black Friday discount?”
The answer is no, and here’s why.

The best value toilet rolls year round
Black Friday is a fairly new tradition here in the UK, but it’s been around in the US for decades, and the general idea has been effective from a retailer’s point of view. Whipping up a sense of urgency and event around a mass day of discounts makes people more likely to buy things they wouldn’t have gone for otherwise.
This festival of shopping isn't great for the environment, and it doesn’t work for us at Naked Paper.
The prices of our products reflect the actual, everyday costs of making them. We pay a real Living Wage to everyone who makes Naked Paper, we manufacture our products with simple, bleach-free ingredients, and no fossil fuels, and we factor in enough margin to keep things sustainable long-term.
It leaves very little room for dramatic “deal of the year” moments, but we think that’s a good thing. In fact, in 2025, our fair approach to pricing our products has paid off for our customers and the environment at the same time.
We make our recycled products from cardboard packaging collected in the area around our factory, and in 2025 we were able to set up arrangements with big supermarkets in the area to collect more of this packaging at a time. This dropped the price for collection, which dropped our costs, and we passed the savings on to our customers with lower prices for our our recycled toilet paper, tissues, and kitchen rolls.
Permanently.

Our simple alternative to toilet paper sales
Even though we skip the Black Friday rush, there are some good year-round ways to save on Naked Paper, all based on the real life costs of producing our products and them to you.
1. Subscribe and save = 10% off every order
Subscriptions help us plan production and stock more efficiently, which lowers our costs. The 10% saving on subscription orders is simply your share of that efficiency.
Our subscriptions are always flexible. You can:
- Choose deliveries as often or as infrequently as you like, with no monthly fees
- Pause, skip or cancel anytime
-
And we always email to give you a chance to change or cancel before anything ships
2. Buy bigger packs for better value
Another option for saving on Naked Paper is a classic: buy in bulk. We offer 24, 48 and 96-roll boxes. The larger packs cost less for us to store, pack and ship. so they cost less for you as well.
You can:
- Save £11.01 with a 48-pack vs. buying two 24-pack
- Save £26.01 with a 96-pack vs. four 24-packs
3. Spread the cost with Klarna
If a big box feels like a stretch upfront, Klarna lets you spread the cost over 3 months, interest-free. Klarna is available on all orders £37+.
4. Combine products to avoid delivery fees
Toilet paper always qualifies for free delivery because it’s above the £20 threshold for free shipping. If you want tissues or kitchen roll too, ordering them with loo roll means there’s no shipping fee.
5. Consider switching to recycled
Our recycled range has the lowest climate footprint, and as mentioned above the sourcing efficiencies we’ve made in 2025 have meant we can drop the price a bit.
This year we’ve also launched recycled versions of our kitchen rolls and facial tissues, so if you’re curious to see what can be done with some old cardboard boxes, gentle soaps and salts, and a helping of renewable energy, now’s a great time to switch.

Affordable toilet paper without the flash (discounts)
Black Friday is built on urgency, but despite the next-day delivery, we like to slow our roll at Naked Paper. Our prices are fair, and we keep them consistent all through the year.
Buy when you need to. Switch whenever it suits your home and your budget. Save with a subscription if it’s convenient, and cancel any time.
And if you fancy visiting an online store without any flashing banners and discount pop-ups, step this way…
