Introducing recycled kitchen roll and tissues

At Naked Paper, we like to think that change can happen in the most everyday parts of life. In fact, the everyday parts of life,
like toilet rolls for example, are often the best place to make changes. When daily-use products become more sustainable, the impact builds up fast.

So when we first decided to look into making recycled tissue, we started with recycled loo rolls. The most everyday item possible, made with the most sustainable processes around. Soft, strong, and crafted from recycled cardboard collected near our factory.

You’ve shown us so much love for those rolls that we couldn’t stop there. This September 2025 we’ve added two new products to our recycled line-up: recycled kitchen roll and recycled tissues.

They’re made with the same thoughtful, planet-friendly process you get from Naked Paper. No bleach, no harsh chemicals, and no fossil fuels used during manufacturing. Whether they’re mopping up spills or soothing a sneeze, our new products are here to keep life clean and comfortable without costing the Earth.

Why recycled?

We started out with bamboo. These thick green stalks are a great material for sustainable tissue making because it’s fast-growing, doesn’t need to be replanted after harvesting, and makes wonderfully soft paper

But sometimes the greenest thing you can use is what’s already out there.

That’s where recycling comes in.

Our new kitchen roll and tissues are made using recycled cardboard boxes and kraft paper packaging collected from supermarkets and kerbside recycling close to our factory. Instead of letting those materials go to waste, we collect them, clean them, and give them a new life.

That means better local recycling networks, less transport of raw materials, and a lighter climate footprint as a result.

Just like our recycled loo rolls, these newcomers have the lowest climate impact in our range.

And their impact on your pocket is fairly modest too…

Planet-friendly and pocket-friendly

We launched our recycled toilet rolls in 2023, so we’ve had a couple of years to refine they way we make them. In 2025 we have set up new arrangements with supermarkets in the area around our factory so we can gather more of the cardboard and paper we recycle at one time.

As well as reducing road miles, this means our transport costs are lower, which makes production more efficient, which lowers costs. We think it’s only fair to pass those savings on to you.

We were delighted to be able to drop the prices of our larger packs of recycled toilet paper in 2025, and since our recycled kitchen rolls and tissues are made with the same raw materials, there’s savings here as well.

So, not only are our recycled kitchen roll and tissues the eco-friendliest in the range, they’re also the best value. You can stock up for a season of entertaining, cleaning, and colds without worrying about the cost.

Our recycled kitchen roll

Let’s get practical and specific. What can our recycled kitchen rolls actually do?

Plenty.

From soaking up spilled juice to scrubbing down the hob, they’re built to swipe your surfaces with ease. Each roll contains 100 absorbent, strong sheets that hold their own, even when wet, thanks to a natural, resin-based coating.

Don’t worry – that coating meets REACH regulation standards, which means it’s non-toxic and neutral in its environmental impact. And because you’ll likely use kitchen roll near food, we made sure it’s ISEGA-certified food safe, too.

(if you want more details about exactly what goes into all of our products, including our kitchen roll, check out this article about Naked Paper ingredients).

And the price? Our recycled kitchen rolls start from just £13.49 for a pack of 6.

Our recycled tissues

Next up: tissues.

If you’ve ever had a cold, had a cry, or had sticky fingers to wipe down, you know tissues are little lifesavers. Our recycled tissues are designed to handle all the little messes of daily life gently and sustainably.

There are 12 chic, Naked Paper packs in a box of our tissues, and in each pack you’ll find 100 soft, beautifully brown sheets. Because they’re bleach-free they’re kind to sensitive skin. They’re strong enough for everyday use, whether you’re dabbing, wiping, or shoving it in your pocket and forgetting about it until later.

And because we think our packaging matters just as much as the tissue it holds, everything is completely plastic-free. Like our kitchen roll boxes, our tissue boxes are made from 100% recycled cardboard, with no pointless windows or shiny coatings. It’s simple, honest packaging and it can go straight into your recycling bin when you’re done.

Prices start from £17.09 for 12 boxes, so you can have a box at hand in every room.

Why it matters

Choosing Naked Paper recycled kitchen rolls instead of alternatives made with bleach, trees, and fossil fuels might seem like a small thing. But as we said at the start, the small things add up. Every sheet means waste material repurposed, emissions avoided, and a stronger recycling network in the area around our factory..

When we launched Naked Paper, we wanted to prove that manufacturing with less environmental impact didn’t have to be complicated or expensive. We wanted to make more sustainable choices as easy as tearing off a sheet of tissue.

With recycled kitchen roll and tissues joining the bleach-free line-up, we’re excited to give you even more ways to live lightly, every single day.

Ready to try them?

Whether they’re headed for your kitchen counter, your pocket, or your bathroom shelf, our recycled products are here to help you live a little greener without compromise.

Soft, strong, affordable, and kind to the planet; what’s not to love?
